The focus of the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce Foundation is to address the following areas affecting our community:

Small Business Development

As the county grows and RFP's are presented, our goal is to help our small businesses compete for the available contracts. Writing Business Plans, Strategic Plans, Proposals, etc. are keys to them being awarded contracts. This is also part of our Small Business Stability Plan.

Economic Stability and Development

By working in partnership with the business community and viewing the county holistically.

Adult Education and Training

is of paramount interest to the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce as we work to build a viable workforce that will support economic development and job creation taking place throughout the county.

Women in the Workforce

Involvement with women's organizations during the development of the county is an absolute essential. The Chamber Foundation has organized the Women's Leadership Council to address our efforts to prepare women owned businesses as expectations and job markets flourish. We also have a special interest in focusing on Domestic Violence in Prince George's County for we realize that this not only affects homes but it affects the businesses as well.

The Youth campaign

The Chamber Foundation is dedicated to helping our youth prepare for a brighter tomorrow. Such areas as the Hospitality Industry, training opportunities, and education programs are keys to their success. We are striving through our Youth Council to work with various groups as we help them prepare for a bright future. We not only want to focus on the transition of those students who are college bound but also those who may choose not to attend college and must enter the workforce.
